The Cox Capitol Theatre, located in beautiful downtown Macon, Georgia exists to preserve this historic Macon landmark that was built in 1897 and enhance the downtown arts and entertainment community. The Cox Capitol Theatre is a movie house, live entertainment venue and event venue.

Tab Benoit is a Cajun man who’s definitely got the blues. Born November 17, 1967, he grew up in Houma, Louisiana. A guitar player since his teenage years, he hung out at the Blues Box, a ramshackle music club and cultural center in nearby Baton Rouge run by guitarist Tabby Thomas. Playing guitar alongside Thomas, Raful Neal, Henry Gray and other high-profile regulars at the club, Benoit learned the blues first-hand from a faculty of living blues legends.

Chuck Leavell has been pleasing the ears of many music fans for over 30 years on the keys playing with musicians such as the Rolling Stones, The Black Crowes, Eric Clapton, The Allman Brothers Band, and many many more. After moving to Macon in 1969, he worked his way through the ranks and joined the Allman Brothers Band in 1972. The first album Leavell recorded with The Brothers was Brothers and Sisters, which included the fan favorites "Ramblin' Man" and "Jessica". He then went on to for his rock/jazz/blues fusion group Sea Level which toured in the late 70s and released 5 albums.
