Located within Jones County, Gray, Georgia is home to about 2,000 residents is a blend of the old and the new. You can find one of Georgia’s most beautiful courthouses here that was built in 1905. Golf, fishing and hunting are major hobbies of the citizens. With one-fourth of the county being in wildlife refuges, nature based activities are a big recreational activity. And, of course, Old Clinton Historic District, Jarrell Plantation, and Griswoldville Battlefield provide a step into the past for history buffs. During the summer, little league activities take up a major portion of the young folks’ time, as well as that of their parents.

Jones County is a growing small town that is fighting to keep the qualities and friendliness of our small town and its heritage while working towards meeting the challenges of the future.
